Throughout both phases
Your story, your brand, your job search - built with a coach.
Your story, your brand, your job search. Built around a strategy.
Biweekly 30-45 minute sessions throughout both internship phases. We work on your personal narrative, resume, LinkedIn, behavioral interview prep, networking strategy, and job search execution. Not generic advice. Specific work on your specific situation.
Common challenges
- Resume reads like a list of technologies, not a story about impact
- LinkedIn profile either doesn't exist or doesn't attract recruiter attention
- Behavioral interviews feel unprepared and improvised in the moment
- No real job search strategy, just applying to everything and hoping
How this track helps
- Craft a resume that tells a coherent story from your background to your target role
- Build a LinkedIn profile that gets recruiter messages instead of silence
- Prepare behavioral interview answers that are specific, honest, and memorable
- Design and execute a focused job search strategy instead of mass-applying
What the sessions look like
Sessions are 30-45 minutes, every other week throughout your internship phases. Each session has a focus. Some are on materials (resume, LinkedIn), some on prep (behavioral interviews, salary negotiation), and some on strategy (where to apply, how to network). Nothing is generic.
- Resume workshop, your draft reviewed and rewritten in session
- LinkedIn audit and targeted rewrite
- Behavioral interview prep with recorded practice and direct feedback
- Networking and outreach strategy for your specific target companies
- Salary and offer negotiation, covered before you need it

Frequently asked questions
Common questions about the Career Coaching track.
- When does career coaching start?
- Career coaching begins at the start of the nonprofit internship phase and runs through the startup phase. It doesn't start during admissions.
- What if I already have a resume?
- Bring it. The first session is an audit. We'll tell you specifically what's working, what isn't, and what to prioritize.
- Do you help with salary negotiation?
- Yes. We spend a dedicated session on this before you're likely to receive an offer, so you're prepared when it matters and not scrambling.
- Can I request more sessions?
- The program includes a set biweekly cadence. If you need additional support at a critical moment, reach out and we'll discuss it.
