You're placed with a nonprofit and build something that matters to people, like a case management tool for an organization helping people find housing and jobs after incarceration. This becomes your first portfolio piece with actual stakeholders.

Resume and LinkedIn optimization
Line-by-line edits on your resume and profile, built to pass both ATS filters and a human skim.
Behavioral interview prep (STAR method)
Build and rehearse a bank of STAR-format stories so behavioral rounds stop being a coin flip.
Networking strategy and outreach templates
Cold outreach scripts and a repeatable process for turning strangers into referrals.
Job search strategy and execution

Admissions criteria, not a sales pitch.
We're selective because placement rates depend on it. Here's exactly what we look for.
Academic or coding background
CS/CE degree, STEM degree (math, physics, or stats), competitive bootcamp certificate, or significant self-taught experience.
Professional background
If you have work experience, technical or quantitative backgrounds (data analyst, engineer, researcher, scientist) are a strong signal.
Location
Based in the US, and willing to relocate anywhere in the country. You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Time commitment
15-20+ hours per week across internship work, coaching sessions, and job search activities. The full program runs ~12 months.

Are the internships paid? +
No, they're unpaid. However, you get to work on live products with real users and stakeholders.

Do I need to quit my job? +
No, the program is designed to run alongside a part-time or even full-time job.
Who are the mentors? +
Career coaching is led by technical recruiters, and technical mentors are software engineers.
What tech stack will I use? +
It depends on the projects you work on at the nonprofit and the startup.
What if I want to withdraw? +
Your deposit is refundable for the first 3 months. After that it's not refundable.
