Your network doesn't end when you get the job.

Your network doesn't end when you get the job.

Graduates of Globally Scoped join a community of engineers who went through the same process. It's a group that understands where you came from and where you're going next.

Common challenges

  • Hard to maintain momentum and keep growing after landing your first role
  • No peer group who genuinely understands the non-traditional path you took
  • First jobs come with new challenges that can feel isolating without support
  • Generic networking advice is everywhere, but real peer connections are rare

How this track helps

  • A tight-knit group of engineers who went through exactly the same program
  • Peer support during your first engineering job and beyond
  • Job leads and referrals from alumni who are now hiring or well-connected
  • Ongoing access to mentors and coaches for questions that come up on the job

The network you actually want

The Globally Scoped alumni community isn't a Slack channel you never check. It's a small, intentional group of engineers who went through the same program. Similar backgrounds, shared experiences, and a real understanding of what it took to get here.

  • Private community for active students and graduates only
  • Job leads, referrals, and warm introductions from alumni in the field
  • Structured conversations, not noise
  • Events and Q&As with mentors and industry guests

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about the Alumni Community track.

When do I get access?
You get alumni community access as soon as you complete the program. You don't have to wait until you have a job offer.
Is the community active?
We keep it small and intentional so it stays useful. A quiet, high-signal community beats a busy, low-signal one. Quality over volume.
Can alumni refer new students?
Yes. Alumni referrals are one of the best ways to get into the program. If you know someone who's a fit, send them our way.
Do you help alumni with their second job too?
Yes, within reason. You're part of the community and we don't disappear when you land your first role. Career coaching office hours are open to alumni.
